Today in the afternoon I saw that Prenolepis imparis was preparing for a mating flight. THere were winged males and a few females coming out of the nest, but none were flying. When it became later in the evening, it became cooler, and the winged ants went back in their nests without flying!!(
) Has anyone ever seen this happen before? ( I'm not too worried though... they will probably fly tomorrow
