I'm sorry I didn't go into detail in my question, but I have received ants from Germany before & each parcel has been labelled with the contents (example: "Paraponera clavata ["Bullet Ants"] colony, 5-10 workers + Egg-Laying Queen. Fragile contents used for personal observation purposes only). Each parcel which has arrived to me has been passed through the customs agency. The Canadian customs concerning the shipment of ants is a grey area in which only bees, flies, and other non-formicidae species are disallowed. I only acquire a colony when I wish to do a research project on it and don't buy or sell ants.
My only interest with Antstore concerns the non-living products. I think that these products can be sold in bulk in the North American (United States) community without a problem with customs.
