you shouldnt force them to move, there are countless threads on this topic, including my care sheet which explains how to get a colony to move :)

im not gonna force them,it was really just the connecting of the test tube to the ytong without loosing ants

If i understand wright. Your ants are in a tube and now you want them to move to a y-tong nest. The y-tong has an out world, yes ? Just put the tube into the out world, they will find the nest soon. ;)

you can put any size colony you want into a ytong, however with 6 ants, its probly better to keep them in the test tube for a while longer, as they dont need the extra space

I keep mine in tubes until they grow out of it. (sometimes i give them 2 or 3 tubes) than i move them in a farm (y-tong).

What do you mean ?

The y-tong is only a nest area they still need an out world. And yes they do come out of the y-tong to feed and drop there trash and stuff.

It is just easier keeping a small colony in a tube, you can always check on them very easy and the conditions in a tube are optimal.
