If you have a plaster nest do you need to keep it moist or is keeping water in the foraging area good enough?

Depending on the species you are going to keep. Most species like a moist nest.

As Jimmy says, depends on the species, and most like it moist, which is why we dont recomend Plaster nests, because they go moldy and crumbly pretty fast

Thanks. Yeah I have since decided not to go with plaster. After reading some I realized there are much better setups.

You can mix 2 parts sands or perlite with one part plaster to avoid most of the mold. I like the perlite best because it makes a much lighter farm to move around and cuts easier.
