Well i got some problems with the ant farms and arena that i received, they were all liking out sand and water, i had to put some silicone on it to isolate them. I flooded the clay and the moisture started to change the color of the sand has expected, i think i did it right, thats why i started this topic to see the opinion of someone with experience, sory about the very low quality of the pictures. In the first im trying to show some part of the sand that craked, but only in one side of the ant farm: Hyperlinks sind nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar

And this one shows the arena were the tube with the Lasius Niger Queen is, because the tube of the queen is very low on water i puted another one with water in the entrance of the one with the queen: Hyperlinks sind nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar

The queen as no ants yet, only eggs, i think i made the ant farm very earlier. But tell me what do you think about it, and if i did something rong, what it was, so i get better for the second nest im going to make, this second nest has farm and arena all in one, and is for messor barbarus witch have in the tube 4 young ants with the queen know. I don't think you did something wrong. Normally they should be water prove. Maybe you can ask UTA.
