with the ytong that antstore sell does it come with a piece of glass that goes on top of the ytong to stop ants escaping or do you need to buy this yourself

You can also make your own y-tong nest. not so difficult and a lot cheaper.

Yes it is better ,because you can do your system for your specific ant species and ytong´s cost is in slovakia 60x30x10 cm = 34 sk = 1 euro ,the glass is not cheap

You also can use Plexiglass in state of glass. Normally that is a little cheaper.

its not really ytong its called thermalite and i am going to start a new topic on about it called is this suitable for formica fusca if you want to have a look

Yes ,get here of new nest ,I like when is ytong nice white. You must making photos ,when is ytong clean ,ants make it ugly to 1 month....
