Hi, this looks so much like an Acromyrmex... However, it is only about 4mm big. I have never seen one so small. Could it be something else? The picture is terrible, I know, but I only have my iphone here right now.

the picture is really bad, but I think this could be a Trachymyrmex queen - also a fungus growing, but not leaf-cutting ant.

I was actually thinking it is a Mycetarotes because of the darker head and abdomen in relation to the thorax. Could it be so?

Dude, sorry but I can't even see the coloration of your queen... But yes, could be also Mycetarotes or one of the other small fungus-growers like Cyphomyrmex...
