Im new to this forum! HI! Well today what I got for xmas is an ant world not an antworks, It came with soil, siphon, and it came with a tube that you connect it with the ant world to a little box of plastic were you can observe them and put the food in. Is it alright? Ill post a pic:. I think i know what the answer is going to be but is just I got it as a xmas present

Should I ored a queen and workers?

Should I connect it with a plastic tube to 50 cm long box and 30 cm wide?

For your setup : Those "play"-things for kids are bad for living ants. There is no way a colony can live or survive long in those things. If you want to keep Ants, just get a better setup from the shop and collect information. Thats my advise, but its on you to decide what to do.

You can start with this setup but not for long, your colony will grow out of it soon.
