Very interesting small black ant (european central-south?)

Beitragvon maxfly » 26. Jun 2009 11:12

Unfortunately actually i have no photo, I have found this queen last year and now I have very massive colony with 200-300 workers, and huge brood and cocoons...

I have search but i have not find anything, the workers are the dimension very similar to themnbotorax just bit more big, but are black and it seems like a supersmaller lasius niger, the queen is 5-6mm and strange thing is lightbrown and not similar to lasius queens is like themno but with more long gaster..., larvas made cocoons... are not frenetic ants, the move agressive but slowly.

any ideas?

thanks

M.
