There's already an older thread about my colony in the german forum. But i thought it couldn't harm to post another one in the englisch forum.

So, here we go.
Should be about 1 year ago, when my P. dives arrived. 1 queen and some workers.

Didn't like it there very much ... so they moved to a hose who was intended to connect 2 basins.

Soon they moved back to the old nest

and started to expand












Time for a new basin... here's the new 80x35x40

Soon they started to build a new nest near the heatmat

EDIT: nearly forgot. I also installed a Hyperlinks sind nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar. Not a very good quality .. but you can see some action. Feeding is mostly done in the afternoon.

Hi , you´ve got very nice colony , I have Polyrhachis sp. too , but really small colony. I received 3 queens and cca 30 workers 2 months ago , and now is there more than 100 workers , so it grow very quickly , I can past here some photos too

very very nice both of you.. im thinking of keeping this spec. next year, i have a nice big tank for them.. but i have no lid.. any ideas where i can get a sutible lid for a 4' tank?
