ANTSTORE World of Ants

The new Ant Apartment looks great, and it's nice to see so many new products coming on and you opening new stores (And I read mention of potential plans for a store in the UK!?). Well done - looks like you're becoming immensely successful since I first found out about you guys - must be great being one of the only company's out there that offer online ordering of Ants in the EU!

Anyway, kudos aside, I have a few technical questions about the Ant Apartment that are not totally clear from the picture of product description:

1: What are the measurements (width/heigh/depth) of the actual area the ants "nest" in?

2: How do you gain access to the different parts of the ant farm, and how secure are there? Is it easy to, for example, get in to the foraging area without disturbing the nest much (and rising escapes)?

3: How secure is the lid (lids?)? Do they clip down firmly?

4: It *looks* like there are 3 different "areas" in the apartment... is this right? Can you explain them a little better, for example, which bits/sections connect to which bits, and how do they interconnect?

5: Are there any "external" holes that could connect to additional ant farms?

That's all I can think of for now, thanks in advance.

Yes, perhaps we make open a shop in the next time in UK.

to Q1: 100x200x200 & 30x20x12 mm

to Q2: In front of the antfarm is the way free, the ants can go out over the two 10mm holes in the middle of the container.

to Q3: The lid lies, and is by two edges protected.

to Q4: the apartment had 2 areas (one ist the big free Area on the Top, the second is the antfarm in front of the apartment. The backside is not in use.

to Q5: You can connect the antapartment with a 10mm hole with other containers.

Thanks Martin - is there any chance that you - or maybe a customer reading this who has bought it - could show me some additional pictures of it, such as top-down with the lid off etc.? I'd just like to get a better idea of how it looks/is built etc. before considering how to make my next colony.

You mean 200x300x250 mms?
The distance from the lids to the wall is normally unter 1mms
Or which size you mean?
