ive seen that before and i believe the ants where caught before hand so none where killed.

man that world be very tricky catching all those ants,trying to find the queens would be hard

The ants where killed, but that was because they are a major pest, although we see them as kool, they destroy entire farms worth of crops within weeks, and the owners of these farms are very poor, so really its a battle for survival between humans and ants, in this case, the ants lost

Yep, ants lost. And it is true, this video was shot in a place where there are a lot of colonies from leaf cutters.

This is a part of documentary film ,,Ants- Secret Nature power. I have this film at my home, it is really beautiful document! This nest of Atta is amazing! I was shocked when I saw it in my first watching of movie...! I have other one document, and they are doing nest constructions by killing them like in this video.. and than they´re studing nests and making deductions...
