please help me!!!

hey everyone

would blu-tack work for sealing up holes of 27mm to stop ants from escaping from a basin......or would this all depend on the species??? as i forgot to order a cnnecting tube and i have tryed sealing the small gap up with blu-tack as i have pusehed both basins together to fit.....theres is bout just 1cm gap from where i have sealed the blu-tack around the 2 holes from the basins, the ants can now go from either basin they want but i think this blu-tack will not hold out long agaisnt bigger ants like manica rubida. which is the species that is going to go in there...btw

i dont have anouth money for another order to get a tube so i cannot to that so can somone please help me with this issue i have

yeah will be fine, depends on the species tho, sum may chew thru it, but most wont do it fast enough for you to not notice and sort it

do u think manica rubida could chew thourgh it??? if so wot should i do bout this if they chew through it tho an they escape!!!

antdude have no fear, i use plastascine, and have had no problem, just make the bung very thick on either side, and if it gives you peace of mind, just run yuor fingers over it each day, though it would take them quite some time to get through it i reckon, so no need to worry..!!

yes blu tack works fine btw, no problem at all.(for my manica rubida anyway )
