I'm planning to order a colony of this species after hibernation and I would like to know if they hibernate till the end of Febuary or if it ends sooner?

And also is the product: 'Heat Thermo Mat 28 W' suitable for this species?

Hi antlord and welcome in our forum.

the hibernation is from the end of november/beginning december until beginning february.
I would recommend a lamp or heating lamp as a heat source.

I just ordered a Messor Barbarus queen and put it in my climate chamber. The heater got an error and killed all my nests (2year old Lasius Niger and just received Messor Barbarus).
Does antstore have a good (cheap) solution to control the temperature?

we can offer you at this moment only young queens from oktober 2007 without worker. But in the next two month they will get the first workers.
