My Atta cephalotes

Beitragvon adam james » 3. Dez 2007 22:22

Hi necturus i am sorry i have not updated in awhile but have had work , family problems and also lack of a digital camera . I do agree with you somewot . The ants were keept right temp , humidity and fed right . There will never be any flying queens as i control the food so i control the amount of food available and therefore the size the fungus garden grows . To be honest i have had to change the setup due to i did have a nasty bite of a solider that fell of and crawled onto my feet . Will keep up to date soon .

Greetings all

Adam :)

I helped look after a colony of leaf cutter ants when i was 17 at a wildlife park. It is what got me so intrested in ants, bee's, wasps etc. I found it facinating how organised they were! Amazing creatures!!
