Ok.... guys (Skippy & Jimmy) . I have taken your advice and put the test tube in a plant propagator, which right now is about 28c .

Now do you think I will have more sucess with the brood ?

Yes I think It´ll be much bigger chance ,I´ll getting my blandus to their first ytong nest ,because colony is bigger now , 1 queen and ca 20 workers

I think this would work much better. (i hope it does so your colony could grow) I already have some pictures of them here at the site,

...sorry Marshall ,I wrote here I´ll have photos ,but I moved only 2 colonies to new formicarium ,blandus probably at this weekend ,but I have much of work ,so I dont know ... but I am sure sometimes it´ll be

Here is it ,new and very simple ytong formicarium with Camponotus blandus (and 2 box for new queens ,which will come to me soon). Nest is without arena now´. There is tank for water inside and it dont need heating ,because I heating all room ( 25-26´C). No problemos

Very nice Skippy, my Camponotus blandus is going to have a big baby boom soon, lot of cocoons (20 i think) i shall post pictures soon, but they are still in there tube.

I think it is time to move them into ytong Jimmy ,becouse inside of tube is small place ,and that queen can feel - she can to slower production of eggs ...

...yes ,Jimmy has bigger colony ,because when I received my young queen with eggs ,Jimmy had at this time small colony of them ... I remember cca 1+5 or what
