hey joanna,
i understand how the antworks might seem interesting to the observer. yet personally i dont think its a suitable way of keeping ants. after all those do live below the earth and not in a brightly lit container filled with gel. so for the sake of the ants i would suggest setting up a more natural habitat. as you already bought the farm you might want to consider using it as a connecting part between an arena and a standard antfarm filled with sand/loam to provide a more pleasing surrounding to the colony. Im not familiar with the connecting devices offered, but you can always use a drill to create additional connections. To be honest, the antworks seem a lot more like a toy for kids then a satisfactory home for keeping living animals. Not sure why its beeing offered for sale. Dear Joanna,

our company sell all products with ants. All what is on the market.
And we give lot's of good informations to our customers.
the ANTWORKS and the ANTQUARIUM is not our products we are only reseller.
The producer say in the instruction: use only workers without queens.
We say: the product is not for a long time keeping. if you keep ants in this box with gel, please give a full colonie into the antworks and make a connection to a other box with normally ground.

If you realy love your ants, and want you keep your ants for a long time, please buy a real formicarium

haha! I Just drilled an 8mm hole in my antworks and connected it to a basin! Its now got sand in it instead of gel. But it works fine!
