Dear Deveant,

to keep this colonie is the size not the problem.
The problem is how to ship to your country.
we dosn't ship the big glasbasins.
Only by a international spedition is it possible.
But i think it's better and cheaper, if you look for a glas workshop in your city.

greetings Martin :D

i think it would work ;)
but it are very big ants so maybe you can buy the first one so you can build on if necessary. i mean if the colonie starts growing.

good luck

Thank you for answer sorry I didn't spot that it's pick up only
I just changed my mind what I could buy to setlte Messor barbarus?
How big is thing? Or maybe I can build their nest from smaller parts?

And as I understood i can keep adding this tanks to expand colony and nest? Right?

And if I come to Berlin is it a shop you have there? So I can just can come and select what I need?

Can you tell me what advantages and disadvanteges of ytong nests and their and build ones?

As well what ants are good for ANTSTORE Starter Set - glassfarm/arena?

Thank you for your time :)

P.S.

I decided to start with Myrmica rubra so what should I buy for them? Is Set - glassfarm/arena will be enough?

Right. Now what do you want?
If you really are sticking with M. rubra, then yes, a glassfarm + arena should be enough.

I myself have M. rubra, nice ants to start with. Haven't had much problems with it. I keep them in a Y-tong nest i made myself. There are pictures in the Gallery here on the site, look around, then you can see wat kind of formicarium you would like.
