I had a colony of Atta, Acromyrmex for about three years now and a believe the colony may coming to the end of its life.

Do you or will you be stocking Atta or Acromyrmex

Thanks for the reply.

last year during the hot weather the colony may have over heated for a short period of time and the nest tank may have reached more than 30C.

I understand that this may cause the queen to become in-fertile.

Since then the colony went into sudden decline, and has not recovered in numbers, and over the last few weeks there has been very little activity in the colony.

If any one can offer any help I would be greatful.

I am looking at trying to keep some diffentent colonies later in the year.
