I like it as well. It's different from Camponotus turkestanus, but I think they are closely related.
By the way,How do you keep your ants in winter? what's the temperature should I hearting?

Hi there!,

If you do not have a cold cellar in your residence:

My method for native ants is that I measure last year's coldest and warmest months (all of the days of each month, coldest and warmest month) and I calculate the average (in Celsius), then I subtract that average by 3 or 4 degrees (C) and maintain this gradual temperature. To start, I begin to lower the regular summer seasonal temperature (20-24 C) by 2-4 degrees (C) during mid-September each week. By October, I change the temperature to the state that it is naturally outdoors with a thermometer based 4-5 inches into the soil with a windbreaker (I use an upside-down flower pot) over it. During November to March, I maintain this temperature and match with the temperature outdoors.

If you have a cellar:

If the temperature maintains at around 4-6 degrees (C) above the outside climate, you should be fine.

By the way, nice ants!
Cheers!
