I give my ants the only source of protein i have which is blatta lateralis due to me having tarantulas ( picture of them Hyperlinks sind nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar) and i dont know what to do with leftovers in the test tube couse i give them in their test tube because they are small colony and they yet dont have a basin so my question is do i leave the leftovers in the test tube or do i need to clean them ?? ( As i was doing all the time,cleaning)

And my other question is will they survive with one piece of cotton wool soaked with watter and a little honey for 10 days because im going to egypt in 30 mins ? the cotton wool is soaked because i didnt use the reservoir trick i only placed the cotton wool at the bottom about 3 cm of it and i soaked now its dry that is why i placed a little piece of it in the test tube... so one more time will it be enough? a piece of cotton wool soaked and and some honey ?

I didnt give them tarantulas i gave them cockroaches or Blatta lateralis in latin name i just said i have roaches because i use roaches to feed my tarantulas....

make sure to give them the roaches dead if the colony isnt big. also you should clean the arena every once in a while, but i would reccomend tampering with the test tube where they are living just to get the leftovers out, if they need to get rid of them they will probably leave them somewhere.

I clean their test tube with cotton buds, i clean the leftovers, my setup is 1 test tube and 1 more test tube with water reservoir,in a plastic box for fridge food opened with the edges of it atleast 3-5 cm with vaseline but they dont seem to get out of the test tube even for the roach at the end of the tube on the other side...
