- The social parasite ant, Lasius spathepus. And there host Lasius japonica.

- It is quite easy to see the queen of P. lamellidens right after the neuptial flight. Here is the picture of them dangling together for some reason.

oustanding pictures, especially the one of Pheidole fervida. What are you going to do with all the Crematogaster queens?

Very interesting pictures of the parasitic species!
It is always hard to connect them together.
Did you ever try to connect the Polyrhachis lamellidens just with workers so she didn´t have to kill the queen? It works with some parasitic Lasius species here in Germany.

Yes. I've already connected the P.L with only a workers, and it works.
