Hey.

Ive just ordered some Lasius niger ants and an alhpa starter set - A.
and was wandering is sand/loam really that hard to maintain?
couse its like nobody uses it.

dosnt it just need some water and then its fine?

I hope i can get some help
becouse i dont want my ants to die in a tunnel acident!

Its not hard to use, the problem with it is that you don't have a good look at your ants. Thats why most keepers use a ytong nest.

Yes, just keep it moist (not to wet) and it will be fine for your ants.
