Hello,

What country/area are Lasius emarginatus colonies sold in Antstore from? The species does occur both in Central Europe and Southern Europe. I think that it is imporant since supposedly colonies of L. emarginatus from Southern and Central Europe have different requirements with regards to hibernation. Is this correct?

When will the species be in stock again? Is it not possible to have a larger stock so the demand can be met throughout the year?

Hello Jusalak,

well, our ant species are registered regarding species and not of its origin, so we are not able to know its origin. According to the statistics they mostly are from Southern Europe.
Unfortunately we ourselves do do not know when this species will be available again as we just get them when our suppliers can supplie them to us.
