I've noticed on some ant colony's you have the option for quality class 1 +20€ and for quality class 2.. whats the diffrence between the two? and example can be found under the polyrhachis dives ants.

Afaik quality class 1 means they guarantee the colony has at least 1 queen. Class 2 colonies will generally have a queen too, but it's not guaranteed and you may have bad luck.

Hello phers,

by quality class 1 we give you a garantie, that the queen is reproductive.
by quality class 2 we have not control it, and can not give a garantie.

but normal is the quality class 2 not a problem and the queen is reproductive too.
but it is a risk!

colonies without "quality class" are class 1.
