hi, i want to know if this species is easy for beginner ( exotique ) and what kind of bassin do i need to keep these ants alive ? sorry for my english

Hello,

Yes and no. Of course, it's not very difficult to keep them, but it's better if you are experienced. In contrast to Pheidologeton diversus or Atta sp., they aren't difficult to keep.

You need a glass-basin to keep them. For small colonies, a 30x20 cm basin is enough, but a Polyrhachis colony will grow up very fast and it's better to take a 60x30 basin.

i have experience with europeen ants : messor , c.cruentatus, pheidole pallidula etc ... i like these ants there very beautifull !

Ok, I think, if you kept these ants successfully, you are "experienced" :D .

Than, it's not a problem to keep Polyrhachis dives.
