do you can take ants in plane by hand baggage?
If they will not find it , you can :D
I'm not sure it is legal to do that mzfckr, i think you better check it first before you get in trouble with it.
You need to get permission from the governments in both the country you are bringing them from, and the country you are going to, this usually means contacting the which ever body controls Enviromental issues, you will also need to contact the plane operator before travelling aswell
its not legal to do no... and im sure if u was caught you'd prob get a fairly large fine and prob be banned by the airline.. and added to some kind of watch list so that everytime u did go on a plane ud get searched.. not really the best idea lol.. If i was u id just send them in the post to whereva it is u want them ;) But i never said that :P
yer and i never sneaked a gecko back home either. its do-able but in the end its your decision, legal or not, and only you will suffer the consequences.
It is legal, as long as you have the proper paper work
hi,
brings back memories of how i first got into ants,-about 10 yrs ago a queen ant landed near me at a water park in Crete. With interest i got it and put it in a coffee jar and fetched it unaware of any laws back to the U.K.I then put it in an interplay antworld and ended up with a small colony, which died after about 1year because of my inexperience. The ants looked just like lasius nigers even tho it was from Crete.Interest awoken,i then resorted to catching queens for the next 8 summers and got very little success getting the workers hatched, but managed to get a few colony's going and then found antstore and doing well with the colony's i have bought.
