i wouldn't mind keeping a colony of bees in my back garden they are good for the plants and also make sweet honey for ants :)

Arnt wasps a bit agressive to keep? I dunno what American wasps are like, but UK wasps and the big European ones are definitly not a good idea imo lool
It's hard to tell which is the Queen wasp. I've always wanted a small wasp nest just to keep for a summer -- not forever. But it's too hard to find a Queen when they all look the same.
Yes I also had bees near my garden ,in old tree. One day ,at this year spring , some guys come here to keep some wood ,because tree was sick. But they didnt know ,that bees are inside. They cut down tree and...... I think .... maybe 50000 bees or more (it was old colony) flight out from inside :( :( ,we ran away very quickly

50,000 sounds like a good sized colony, you get some honey comb? sorry I ment Hornets, i allways get wasps and hornets mixed up cause I'm used to hearing wasps. Hornets are allot more gentle.
No... We called one "beeser" or I dont know how is it in English and he get all bees with queen and honey and bees-plaster to his box and go away. He got me 2l of honey like "for colony" ;) ,good guy he is ,he has I think 10-15 colonies.

Beekeeper is a person who has bee hives. in Englesh a place to keep bees is a Apiary a person who keeps bees to study is an Apiculturalist. But a Beeser, just sounds cooler.
