But aint there some warm spots in the SE britain where even palm trees grow? They're prettty much screwed :D

Somehow I find it really funny that europe gets all clogged up when there's 5cm of snow on the ground. Throughout every winter there's 40cms or more of snow in here and sometimes around -25 degrees celsius (it has been frickin cold for last 2-3weeks, ranging from -20 to -35 here :p)

That true Kale, they are not used to snow here in Europe. ;) Here in Belgium most of the times to snow will only last for about 2 weeks. I think you have a few months of it. :)
