I just thought id help move this along
I used to give blood but i moved onto platellets as its needed desperatly for people with cancer and platellet disease plus i can do it every month instead every 3
Just thought id push it forward for other people to donate its painless, your in and out fast and youll be helping everyone who needs it
especially those rarer types 0- a- ab- ab+ b-
just hope people would considerate it at least
less than a hour of your time every 3 months surely can not be that hard
yes.. i did give blood once.. it wasnt a good experience. i almost passed out lol.. i dont like needles lol.. and giving blood realllly isnt for me.. but i did try lol
oh if you are scared of needles then its not good for you - you should eat before hand tho it helps
platelet donations require you to sit there for over a hour with the needle in your arm
You pass out often when it´s the first time. But here in germany you don´t get money for it and you aren´t soposed to drink alcohol a long time after and before... so not very many people do that.
oh it is the same here you dont get payed for it either , you are ment to do it at the willing of your own heart lol
I'm a blood donor for a few years now. We don't get payed for it nether, don't have a problem with that. :)
It's easy you don't have to do anything for it, just lay still for a few minutes. (half hour. :) )
im A- so was good to give blood and u only lay there 4 mins like you said
but now im platelet donating my blood type dont matter yes i have to sit there with the needle in my arm for a hour and have my blood pumped out me and back into me in intervels but for the good it does and the little time it takes i think everyone should do it or at least give it a go and see if they can handle it especially blood donations its only every 3 months and not even hour of time and most places especially in uk have them right by where they live
Used to do it, but as I'm gay I'm not allowed to anymore, because obviously all gay people automatically have HIV. They're really desperate for blood - but not *that* desperate, yuck!

ah i dont understand that too much because all the blood goes through screening anyways so if you did catch it they would find out and notify you eitherway
i understand not letting druggies do it tho - parlty why i dont believe they should pay ppl because this fuels druggies to waste money
