Drake: ANTSTORE and Ytong (22. Feb 2009 00:12)

So I know ANTSTORE don't ship outside EU. Is this only for Livestock? Or dose ANTSTORE not ship any of its products outside EU?

I am having a little trouble getting Ytong altogether!

If not. Would anyone know a good site that sells Ytong?

Most places that sell building material carries y-tong. They might call it something else, but it's white, light concrete.

So shouldn't be too hard to locate. It comes in all kinds of sizes and shapes too.

Maybe for the EU. I hope its easy to get in Australia, then to get in the US.

Wonder if they would send the Ytong if I was to pay the extra costs?

Zagone: Re: ANTSTORE and Ytong (22. Feb 2009 00:55)

No idea. Can't imagine why Australia wouldn't have y-tong though.

EDIT: Aerated autoclaved concrete seems to be the complicated name of it, incase it helps.

EDIT2: Some Australian Google results for ytong/AAC.

Well, maybe its easy. That be great. I read often that people in the US have a hard time getting it. I did ring a mate who was working on a house, he recons the hardware store is the go. I hope I am successful, I can start buying the items needed or a really nice setup!

Oh did not think to look under pages from Australia #-o . Thanks again!

Edit: Found a site that distributes Ytong to a shop close to me! Even found some DIY for an outdoor table: http://www.hebelaustralia.com.au/hebeldiyrange/creativediysolutions/buildinganoutdoortable.aspx . The Top is just what I want. something like that I can cut my own sizes! So i good chance i get my one square meter :D .

Thanks once again!

Not always white, in England it's grey :| .

I see. Well, aslong as it's not black you should see the ants fine. ;)
