How expensive are stignrays?

I sell my baby motoros for £125 each. You can find cheaper on the nett. My leos i got cheaply from another shop for £450. Its not the money tho, its breeding another livebearer thats the fun of it. All my rays are hand tame. Which is good when it comes to feeding as they are not keen on clam or cockle, so what i do is mix theses together with smelt, white baite and mussel and feed it into their mouths in one go, much broader diet this way. I suppose its like putting chocolate sauce on brussel sprouts for kids, ok that was a bad example lol

They seem really interesting ... and they are so nice to look at! Never heard from anyone who kept them yet.

Can you tell a bite more about what they require etc.? Would be nice to know :D

very easy to keep as long as you have a big tank, big filter and lots of food. My adults can each eat about 150 grams aday of meat, so u need a wicked filter to cope with the ammonia. For a single motoro you will need at least a 6ftx2ftx2ft tank, but ideally this will really need a sump of the same volume, this is quite small thought for a single adult, so better 7ftx3ftx2ft. I would recommend people not to get one, as really i would recomend 2 rays together, thats an awful big tank.

Unless i get really famous I don't think I would have any thing like this. Well maybe HUGE tank!
