Hey guys i have 7 fertazlized niger queens do i put them into hybernation?

if i were you i would, i am with all my queens but i do normaly wait till first workers.
Thanks
Still too early for hibernation.. should have first workers by the time they need to be put into hibernation.
Yes it is best to hibernate them. Like Steve said, it is to early to do that. Wait until end of October to start with the hibernation.
i wanted to add a young queen from this year to my Myrmica rubra colony when there hibernating but no ones selling any not even ant store :(
gabrath send me a pm and il see what i can do for you.
My Lasius N. colony is about 80/100 workers, I keep them 6 months ago and they are still in the test tube, before hibernating I must move them in the farm or they can remain in the test tube??
They can remain in the tube. A lasius niger colony about the same size as yours (mine) live in a test tube and are doing fine. I'm going to put them in a ytong in the spring :)
Yes you can keep them in a tube for hibernation. It is best that there still is water in the tube (behind the cotton off course ;) ) so they don't dry out during hibernation.
ive got 10 testubes coming on thursday as well as the testube my ligniperda are in is running out of water
