Spore: c-cork nest 13x10x3 cms - 11mm (2. Jun 2008 17:09)

I have a question about the size of the c-cork nest 13x10x3 cms - 11mm that ant store sells. Is that farm realy that small?! I Intended it to house a small colony of Camponotus Ligniperda but i doubt that they could fit! Is there any way that the sizes could be inacurate? Or do i have to look around for a bigger nest?

It is big enough to start with, but if they colony grows they need a bigger farm.

I was hoping to transfer the ants from my 30*20*20 into it, there is about 10-30 ants in total so i think this farm is to small.

i have that nest for my myrmica rubra
i would not put my ligniperda in there!
its just big enough for the rubra , my ligniperda queens wouldnt fit in the entrance!

It is a very neat desktop formicarium for small ants though!
