I wouldn't put all the jelly into the basin... i would open one jelly and take a bit for the ants and put the rest into the fridge or even freeze it. I guess you can keep it in the basin for around 5 days... but i'm not sure... but as i said, i would freeze the rest and only give them a bit, so you don't have to waste too much because they don't eat it in time...

Greetings!

protien jelly will last about 24hrs at room tempreture safley (ie before growing bactiria and mold), best way to give it to your ants, is to give them a TINY amount, in a small container (eg cut out a segmant from an old pill popper ;) )

the jelly will probably liquidize, so make sure no ants drown in it, use only a tiny amount

The opened jelly will last a few weeks in the fridge, so just add a little bit every 24 hours

Yep, like miszt said, give only a little bit and keep the rest in the fridge. Depending on how much workers your colony has. ;)

It doesn't turn into liquid so there is no change ants will drown in it. (in my experience ;) )

mine jelly doesnt turn into liquid, but in a very hard stuff.
