hi guys i have captured some wild queens all the same species some have laid eggs and then died :( should i transfer then to one of my alive queens to bring up or will they develope in to larva and then tranfer them i would think with out a queen to look after them the eggs would die

and another question who long do eggs take to hatch they are 5 week old now i would have thought i would start to get larve by now im not worried it just a question

Eggs without care will die. Maybe another queen will accept them, but she can also eat them. The time of hatching relies mostly on temperature, how warm it is in your house?

She could eat the eggs ore just leaf them to die, if there are to much eggs the queen can not take care off all eggs.

Hatching depends on species, temperature, humidity...

but camponotus are usually pretty big.. so it can take some time... i would try to transfer the eggs to a queen.. in the worst case they will just die but if u don't try it they will die for sure...

Yes that is true, Felix has got a point there. ;)
