How much sand do you usually mix with loam for your ant farm?

i guess it was 1:3( sand to loam).if im wrong someone correct me.

No that is correct. It make the sand better to hold the tunnels and rooms the ants dig.

ok thanks. i'll probably go pick some up today. i'm having somewhat of an ant shopping spree. haha

cook them before add them! i have a lot of trouble now with mine sand farm because of mould.
