pphakkar: Mealworms for Myrmica rubra (21. Mär 2008 08:44)

Hi

I wonder, if Myrmica rubra or other ants eat mealworms? I bought them for my ants. But they do not seem to be that interested on living or killed mealworms.

Does other ants eat them?

Well, now I have few bugs.

Ants do eat them I think you should cut them in half as I heard there shell is to hard for the ants to bite through...

try honey+sugar+water+fish flakes mix, in a empty pill tab(where the pill sits in).they love it.

All of my species like Meal worms, but yes you need to cut them in half.

Myrmica rubra loves sweets so give them plenty. :)
