Milk products aren't good for ants. Some ants do eat bread, and most of them like meat, but they have very different tastes.

I don't know about bread and milk, but they should accept cheese or meat, my ants have done so in the past.

I offered once bread to rubras but they ignored it. Some messor species would eat bread but not rubras.

Try it out, every species and every colony is different so try to give them bread ore meat and see if they like it. ;)

Just wondering here but when u say meat what do u mean.. Like a peice of beef.. and if so cooked?? or do u mean like some spam.. or ham??

JimmyVe: (18. Feb 2008 20:06)

I never tried it myself steve, but i heard of people giving them ham and beef (not cooked) and that they accepted it. So maybe it is worth a try. ;)

I´ve never fed them with spam or other processed meat. When I say liver I mean liver. :D And chicken meat was from the chicken leg. All the meat I offered them was raw. Some they liked some not. And it is true that this varies from colony to colony.
