what about exoterra sand (http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/desert_sand.php) for basin with myrmica rubra?this sand is very delicate(<<<tranlater sad this) almost like dust.if that changes something i bought the black sand.

You could use it in the out world, but its is not suitable for a nest area. The sand is to dry and thin for the ants to make tunnels in.
