Myrmecology: collecting box (12. Feb 2008 18:30)

hi all,
I was wondering how large are the breathing holes in the collecting box?

Can any one help? I am intending to use them as starter sets for many ant colonies by placing the test tube into the collecting box.

I dont suggest you to buy that box for that use, you could just use some regular box (candy box) or something, and put the tube there. That would save you a lot of money.

Yep, like Kale said, just use a regular plastic box. Much cheaper and i'm sure you're mother has a few of them. ;)
