I should get an info...How much time, Lasius niger's eggs develope into larvae? And how much time larvae development into adult workers?

Thanks

it varies depending on the enviroment, but for a rough guide...

Egg > Larvae ~4weeks
Larvae > Pupa ~4-6weeks
Pupa > Worker ~2-4 weeks

Here you can find my experience with Lasius niger . From eggs to workers.

Temperature is most important. In July and August, with temp. in my room of about 35(!) C, my Lasius colony grew extremally fast, and it took only 4 weeks from laying egg to hatching of a new worker. Later, with temp ca. 25C, it took 8-10 weeks. With temp. lower than 20C, larvae grew very slow and stopped pupating at all.

Thanks. I've bought my colony from short time, and i haven't yet assisted to a complete cycle of metamorphosis.

They grow fast, so when they will go out of hibernation i'm sure you can look at the complete cycle. ;) Good luck.
