sithmaster676: water for hibernating colony (27. Okt 2007 21:18)

hi all
i know that usually a colony would get water from the cotton in a test tube during hibernation but 2 of my 3 colonies have made there nest in there soil setup so how do i give them water when they won't leave the nest to get water from the surface

just make sure the nest is moist, be careful tho, the lower tempretures will mean the water stays longer, so dont drown them

in deed sith, just keep the nest moist like miszt said, if you normally spray (ore how you do it) the nest once a week do it now only 2 times a month. and keep an eye on it that it will not go to moist.
