heya, my new Aphaenogaster senilis conoly has settled in really well, and i was looking at them last night and saw 4 new born ants still curled up and i was wondering how long does it take them to start walking on their own etc, theyre stil Ghost White

it takes around an hour for them to adapt to the colonies scent and to gain colour after that they should start helping around the nest
hmm they arnt moving, the workers keep moving them around and theyve been unactive for the whole day now :? are they dead ?
diffrent ants take diffrent times to start moving about, for eg, Lasius Niger take about 7 days from hatching from the coccon to walking about, dont worry, they will 'come to life' when they are ready, unfortunetly ant colonys take lots of patience, n waiting for weeks n months at a time for things to happen is just the way it is :)
