well what can i say, they are fascinating ants, i ordered 11- 25 with a queen, and theres at least 50 ants in there with , i think 2 queens !!

i just fed them and they pounced on the 2 spiders i put in there, they then dragged them into the nest and ate them ! and then i saw 2 workers carrying the queen into the nest

Hi.

As you can read in this thread ( klick! ) the guy who bought his Aphaenogaster has now infected ants. Its a fungus which slowly kills the ants who are infected with it. The fungus is known in spain so I think their colonies will come from there, infected with the fungus.

If there are any signs that your ants have an infection too, please behave just like we advised the other guy in the thread! As you will read it there, that's important!

Dear Kashmir,

we have no fungus infected ant colonies in our stock. all colonies which we have check are clean.
A infection is on many ways possible.
please, check your colonie, but I think you will find nothing.

everything is good, they love spiders !!! theyve settled in very nicely and they look and act well so far, fingers crossed !
