Hey,

I just bought myself a new set to start a new L. Niger colony, however, totally forgot that I might require something to connect the tubing to the basin.

http://www.antstore.net/shop/product_info.php/info/p1315_ANTSTORE-Starter-Set---glassfarm-arena---20x10.html This is the set I just bough the drilling in the basin are 10mms and the pipe is 10mms however with the thickness added to the pipe it become around 14mms, so wont fit at all.

I have tried some other ways but I just cant get a secure connection between the basin and the tubing.

I was just wondering if anyone has a similar set-up that might be able to give me a tip on how to get it connected, I was thinking silicon but want to avoid it if I can as I am planning on expanding the farm with colony size.

Sometimes you can drill a hole into the rubber plug and put a smaller pipe through it. Or you drill half the way and put your bigger pipe into it ... might work ^^

I'll order some of the connectors in a few days as I need a new basin anyway for my other lasius niger colony, for now i'll go hunt down some pipe :)
