Senex: Proceding to begin... (20. Sep 2006 14:15)

Hi,

I received my ants and i have my basin ready...
I just would like to know what i have to do now.... I must put the tube in the basin and nothing more? Will they get out and build their nest?
I tried to put the tube in the basin but the queen didn't seem well... she didn't move and i was worried so i decided to ask here.
Have i just to put the tube there and wait?

you can put the tube in the farm (basin). cover it up so there is no direct sunlight on it and let them be, they will move if necessary. make sure you give them little insects and honey-water mix. if the colonie start to grow they will build a nest in the farm.

thanks or helping... the problem was that they were moving in the tube but when i put the tube in the farm they stoped moving... i'll do what you said...
