padje: colony in Ytong nest (17. Mär 2006 23:47)

I already have an ant colony (it's great), and i would like an other. I would like to keep it in an Ytong nest which will be connected to several other basins (i'm building it right now; looks realy good).

What species can be held in Ytong? (Messor Barbarus?)
Should the nest be covered with red folio, or is light not a problem?
