Hi im new here I need help my new L asius niger colony where in a test tube there where 8 workers and eggs lavae and cacons but all my workers are dead (dont leave your colny with younger children :evil: ) anyway will my queen servive she has 2 eggs 6 leava a 1 cacone what should I do?

As long as the puppae can hatch, theres a small chance. But, the queen possibly dont feed the new larvae.

You have to wait and observe the situation. I dont usually recommend to push a colony, but in this situation its an option. Try to find some puppae from lasius niger in your garden. Maybe you can find some.

Thank you for a replie and yes there are lots of L asius niger but none in my area :( how should I feed her should I give her insects or will she not eat it I have her a drop of honey she likes honey

she needs peace and rest, keep her nest dark, don't disturb her, offer her water, sugar-water and a fruit fly (or small normal fly) in front of or inside the testtube, hope for the best
