TheWoolman: Moving ants out of an ant farm (7. Aug 2014 11:16)

My M yrmica rubra have been flourishing inside of and ant farm, a thin glass structure with dirt inside, however they have since dug into the middle of the substrate and I miss so much of the action. It's really annoing since they are my biggest colony. I s the any way I can move the out without harming them? Obviously I know light won't work.

don't moisten the current farm and offer them another moist one, when conditions in the new one beat the old one they will consider moving by themself
